Hellanback Ranch was established by John York and Paula Payne in 1997.  The vineyard was planted in 2006, with expansions in 2007.  Hellanback Ranch is located at the far eastern end of the AVA at an elevation of 2000 feet.  Three acres of syrah, cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, merlot and petite verdot are planted on the 50 acre ranch.  John is a member of the RVVA leadership team, and a former president of the organization.  Visit our website to see pictures of beautiful Hellanback.
